One app, clear tasks
Every section is designed for quick reading on a moving boat, generous touch targets and graceful operation when connectivity disappears.
See your position, SOG and COG alongside coordinates in the standard maritime format.
Measure distance, prepare routes and create areas by tapping the map or entering coordinates.
Generate ready-to-read IMO SMCP call text combining your current position and vessel profile.
Collision regulations, a give-way solver, buoyage, lights and a practical VHF guide.
Log entries with position and weather context; wind, wave and sea-temperature forecasts.
Refresh warnings when connected and keep reading the cached copy; always verify against official sources.
Map workspace
Map tools remain in one working surface. Measurements, routes and areas stay close at hand, and saved areas can be framed again with one action.
Clear under pressure
TALAY combines the current GPS position with vessel name and persons on board to prepare an English Mayday or Pan-Pan draft for VHF Channel 16.
MAYDAY · MAYDAY · MAYDAY
The app does not transmit the call or alert search-and-rescue services. In distress, use VHF Channel 16 or your local emergency service.
Offline reference
Dense maritime material becomes quick reference, decision flows and searchable cards.
Privacy approach
TALAY has no account system, advertising SDK or behavior analytics. Networked features and third-party providers are documented openly in the privacy policy.
You do not need to register, build a profile or provide personal account information.
Logbook, route and saved-area content is held in the local database on your device.
Map, weather and optional depth requests may share the viewed area or queried coordinate with the relevant provider.
Navigation safety
TALAY is not an approved ECDIS and does not replace official nautical charts, publications or Notices to Mariners. Map, depth, weather and warning data may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. GEBCO is approximate model data and must not replace a sounding. The skipper remains responsible for safe navigation.
